The Irish Nanny and Her Golden Harp

My nanny played a golden harp,

With gentle hands, a work of art.

The strings would hum a soft, sweet tune,

A melody beneath the moon.

Her smile would warm the coldest night,

Her music shining soft and bright.

Each note she played, so calm and true,

Would chase the storms and bring the blue.

In quiet rooms, she’d softly sing,

The harp’s sweet voice would gently ring.

Her songs were like a lullaby,

That made the world feel pure and shy.

Now when I think of days gone by,

I hear her songs that never die.

My Irish nanny, full of grace,

Her music still fills up this place.

Though she’s gone, her love remains,

Her golden harp, my heart sustains.

In every note, she’s always near,

Her spirit lives, forever here.
