Weed Should Be Legalized
Recreational marijuana users are looked down on by many people in society. People are called trashy, good for nothing, and “bums” because of their use of a plant. Marijuana has been proven to be less harmful than alcohol and cigarette use, so the underlying question is: why? Although cannabis has some effects to the usage of it, alcohol usage causes a greater effect, yet businesses allow it to be distributed without the blink of an eye. In the long run, the sale of weed will boost the economy and may lessen criminal charges that are added into the crime rate. Marijuana should be legal because it is proven to be less harmful than various substances sold daily in society and was made illegal because of poorly researched information by the government in the late 1800s to early 1900s.

Me, My Issues, and Weed
I still remember the first joint I had (not like it was that long ago as I am only 21). I was still in high school at the time. It was just me and one of my old best friends sitting on a field during the school summer holidays. It was my first time I had smoked ANYTHING (still to this day I have never smoked a cigarette… bizarre… I know). My asthma used to be awful back then, so I coughed a little, to say the least. About half an hour or so later I just felt light headed and pretty "high." It was my first time; I wasn’t really sure how I was supposed to feel and to be honest, back then I didn’t really think much of weed. I mostly just saw all the negativity and stigma that surrounds it rather than its benefits. I had plenty of friends that smoked it, even an ex-boyfriend at one point, but even then it never really interested me. I just couldn’t really understand what the hype was about weed, but I thought why not?

Signs You Might Be Allergic to Weed
There are a lot of allergies out there that most people don't ever really consider possible. For example, there are people out there who are allergic to spinach. But, some allergies are stranger and rarer than that. Some people are allergic to water. More have allergic reactions to perfume.

Underrated Benefits of Medical Cannabis
When you're chronically ill, and weighing your treatment options you often do research and try to paint yourself a realistic picture. You want to hope, but you don't dare; not until all the facts are present and accounted for. When I started research on medical cannabis, I was skeptical–maybe even cynical. I had already tried so many snake oils for pain management and I was tired of being jerked around. What I found when using medical cannabis, is that not only did it help me with my pain, my appetite, and increase my quality of life, I also realized that there were a few underrated benefits no one talks about enough:

What Is CBD Oil Used For?
In a world rife with cannabis and the leniency of its usage now growing ever steadier into the future, many are questioning the necessity of CBD oil in line with its globally known counterpart, THC. More of us are begging for answers to questions, such as: what is it? How does it work? What benefits, or side effects, come from its continued use? And, how much of a difference does it really have from the more popular form of marijuana, if any?

My Journey with Mary Jane
*tsk tsk tsk* Where to begin? I guess we could start off at 13? Yeah, 13. I was freshly 13 years old when I picked up my first blunt. I had just turned 13 and the day after and I was at my best friends house sharing a blunt with a couple of other friends at the time. As most first experiences are, it was OK. It was an experience. Whoever had rolled it must've sucked at rolling because I didn't really feel anything. Or at least I thought I didn't. It was my first time smoking so I wasn't sure how I should feel. I remember there was about six or seven of us on this one blunt (I know, it's so many heads on one). But that's how you gotta roll when you have no money at 13. It was a few of us trying it out for the first time, so it was definitely memorable.

Talking to Your Doctor About Medical Marijuana
For more than half a century, Americans have been told one mistruth after the other about marijuana. However, as the country is becoming more educated about cannabis, what it is, and how the plant can play a role in improving overall health and wellness, Americans’ understanding of marijuana is changing.
