Opportunity is also a kind of strength
When I returned home at the end of the month, my aunt excitedly told me one thing during the family reunion dinner: Cousin Hui 'er was admitted to the experimental primary school in the county town with the best scores in both the interview and the written test at the end of the month. She is now taking training in a refresher school and will be ready to start her job in the summer. I congratulated her in public, and promised to visit my cousin at the refresher school in a couple of days, along with a few books of lectures by famous teachers, which I believed would be of great benefit to her growth. After listening to the aunt is happy from ear to ear, all kinds of fruits and vegetables on the table to my plate clip, lest I do not use the chopsticks.

Pillows, Comfort Objects, and the Elephant in the Room. Top Story - July 2022.
At my last counseling session, I asked my counselor for a throw pillow perched on a chair. As she handed it over, she called it her "elephant in the room" pillow, so clients can acknowledge hard issues in their lives. The elephant pillow is one large blob with flappy ears and a stuffed trunk. It has soft fabric that's soothing to rub too.

Should I Take an Antidepressant?
I am by no means and expert. I'm just an advocate trying to start a conversation. I can only share the knowledge I have through experience. It's important to understand which type of depression you have before you decide which treatment option is best for you, in your particular situation. Everyone is different. Everyone responds differently to each individual pharmaceutical option.

Addiction Treatment and Assessment
When considering addiction treatment and assessment, it's imperative to understand the process. Typically, the assessment process includes questions such as whether a person is currently using drugs or alcohol. It will also include questions about the frequency and quantity of substance use. Additional questions might include whether a person has problems fulfilling obligations, losing control, or other behaviors indicative of addiction. Addiction specialists will use this information to develop a treatment plan tailored to the patient's needs.
