The most popular topic since prohibition.
WAYW
About An introspective multimedia project that delves into the minds of everyday people about why they wear what they wear. We often like to think that we don't care much about clothing and fashion or how we dress, but there's a rhyme to reason as to why we dress the way that we do. There's an emphasis on "everyday people," because in today's world, there is a central focus on being famous and/or receiving a lot of attention to be validated and to matter.

The Famous and Beautiful Kente from Ghana!
At the mention of Kente, the first thought is the Asantes from Ghana. Yes, there are several groups that are also associated with Kente, but the Asantes are more in touch with Kente cloth than anyone else. It was created 375 years ago, in a village called Bonwire in Ghana-Asante region, and was established between 1701 and 1717. This was when the Asante King (Asantehene), Nana Osei Tutu I was in power. Interestingly, the first kente cloth was made of raffia fiber and only belonged to the Asante clan. Years later, there was a redesign of the cloth.

Even though vaping is very similar to smoking, the two are majorly different. Smoking is highly injurious to health, as cigars and cigarettes contain nicotine, a cancerous substance.

CBD: Curing the Common Misconceptions
CBD is in an ever-evolving area of gray in what has been a traditionally black and white area, regarding the topic of cannabis when it comes to its use and legality. Unfortunately, for a long time, and even to this day, most just lump everything into the same category as marijuana or ‘weed’ for short, this is hardly the case with distinct differences existing between the two. Then there’s hemp… yet another category that stems (pun intended) from the same plant. With so many advocates and proponents of legalization these days, and some states even legalizing medicinal marijuana use, it’s about time some clarity was shed on the topic.
