Making Lots Of Money From Vocal
Pecuniary Observations On My Vocal Account Since October Last Year
Introduction
This is just a short observation on my financial performance (for that, read coffee money) from Vocal since the end of October last year.
The music is " It's Yer Money I'm After Baby" by The Wonder Stuff.
This Is The Situation
On Halloween, I got my last Vocal instigated bonuses, two in one day:
Thanks to a Raise Your Voice nomination, I got a Top Story with this, but without the nomination, I doubt it would have been chosen.
This is my coffee money from Vocal since October last year, and the time I was unable to publish thanks to a system limit/fault which could have been fixed in five minutes.
Summarised this is
- $30 from tips, thank you to all you wonderful friends and supporters for that
- $30 from an Ambassador's Payment for getting people to join Vocal
- $25 from Vocal Reads
- $8 from Vocal bonuses
My Vocal withdrawals have been $80, which includes previous reads and bonuses.
Conclusion
The implication is I am being ghosted by Vocal, but I am getting the money from Vocal reads, tips and the ambassadors. At the moment, I feel I will never get another Top Story, Challenge or Leaderboard place, but that will not stop me from writing and publishing.
I still think Vocal is the best writing platform, and I will be here for a long time yet.

Side Quest Goal Achieved: Placing an Alien Claim

Don't feel too bad, Mike, you're not the only one. You make way more than me in reads, though.
Keep on going Mike. You've been at it a while. I know it's frustrating. It took me a couple of years before I got a top story. Once you break through that plastic ceiling you'll see it happen more often. I thought it was impossible to get anywhere. I just passed 300.00 dollars worth of reads and with bonuses and the occasional tip I'm barely over 700. But, I look at it as breaking even for the months I paid for Vocal Plus.
I am quite surprised at the amount I make from Vocal as well, more than often I find it shocking that there's some people willing to pay me for book reviews. But I will continue to support you and make sure that this is not your last top story. I genuinely have no idea why you've been shut out like this but I am still here and I will always be reading your work :)
You are doing better than most who choose to share their financials on Vocal, Mike, but I still can't understand why you are shut out.
