How has my writing changed?
Based on my first piece, Bipolar Disorder, and my most recent poem (since that is what I usually write), Without You, there have been only a few changes that I am able to notice.

First Challenge, First Win
I’ve been reading stories since I was young, probably early teenage years. It was just a coincidence that my father bought a Harry Potter collection for entertainment on a train when we visited Egypt for a holiday (vacation), but since then I was hooked in the immersive world these stories can create. I continued reading and even learned English while reading these books after coming to live in the UK.

The Lost Treasure of Atlantis - four possible endings
The four possible endings: • The crystal granted them their deepest wishes: Jack wished to become a famous explorer who traveled around the world, discovering new places and cultures; Lily wished to become a successful writer who published best-selling books based on her adventures with Jack. They were happy and fulfilled, but they forgot about Atlantis and King Atlas, who remained in their eternal sleep.

Looking back
I started writing long before I signed up to Vocal, but I have always struggled to stay focused and motivated. The appeal of Vocal Media was the ability to self-publish. Prior to finding this platform, my options were to post on social media or just keep my writing to myself until I produced a full manuscript. Neither option appealed to me. I have worked out over the years that one of my weaknesses is my lack of attention span. I tend to be easily distracted and do not enjoy sitting still for any length of time. I have often found that if I get stuck on a section of a story or writing project, if I walk away and change my activity, I can compose what I want in my head and return to finish the segment to my satisfaction.

What Type of Stories Are Making Money on Vocal Media Website
In my opinion, writing for Vocal Media is a better option than writing on Medium. Vocal Media regularly provides new challenges that can earn you at least $500, which can be a great motivator to write longer stories.
