England are through to the final of the 2023 Women's World Cup. The Lioness's knocked co-hosts Australia out after beating them 3-1 at Stadium Australia in Sydney. This means that they have reached their first World Cup Final and have the chance to lift a major piece of silverware for their country, something which hasn't been done since 1966 when the man's side beat West Germany in the final to lift the trophy. A sports club that was set up as in order to look at the drastic lack of goalball clubs in Southern England has celebrated it's tenth anniversary. Winchester Goalball Club which was established by Paralympian Adam Knott specialises in finding ways to help incorporate the blind and partially sighted community make their way in the sporting world.
