Villainess Review: Bethany (Revenge for Daddy)
Revenge for Daddy (also known as Looking for Mr. Wonderful) aired on Lifetime on March 19, 2020, and centered on Lisa Clark, who had recently ended her relationship with police officer Bobby, due to his constant cheating. One of Bobby's flings was with Lisa's co-worker and so-called friend, Bethany, leading to a very chilly reception from not only Lisa, but from her best friend Nina. Lisa was set up with Michael Patterson, and it was later in the film that the group went out at a local bar--a night that ended very tragically for Nina, as she ended up killed.

Villainess Review: Lt. Debra Hughes (CSI)
The CSI episode, "The Fallen," began with D.B. Russell being informed by Debra Hughes, a lieutenant in the LVPD, about a teen criminal who blew up a BMW belonging to a politician, with the meeting taking place before she sent her husband, Blake Hughes (a fellow officer and a subordinate), to the receptionist's desk. Afterwards, Mark Powell, a 16-year-old gunman, entered the station and shot Blake in his chest, and later fired more shots before taking Russell hostage. Mark also ended up killing another officer, Kenneth Matsuda, in his rampage.

Villainess Review: Michelle (Werewolf)
I'm a fan of werewolves in TV and film, and have been since the age of 11. One of the many werewolf related shows I did learn about was, of course, Werewolf, which was one of the Fox Network's first programs. The series' central protagonist, Eric Cord, had been on the pursuit of Janos Skorzeny since the pilot, which saw Eric afflicted with the werewolf curse after being attacked by his longtime friend, Ted Nichols, who revealed his blood tie to Skorzeny before the attack--as well as Ted's demise at Eric's hand.

Villainess Review: Kiki Owens (Morning Show Mysteries)
Hallmark Movies and Mysteries continues to amaze and entertain with their various film series, with one of them being Morning Show Mysteries. The film series stars Holly Robinson Peete as Billie Blessings, a chef and host of cooking segments on Wake Up With Us, a popular morning show, though in this first installment, "Mortal Mishaps," Billie finds herself in the center of not one, but two murder investigations, while also facing suspicion for the one committed in this film.

Reviewing Eva Marie's Return and Piper Niven's Raw Debut
It was on May 3, 2021 that a vignette aired on that night's Raw promoting Eva Marie's return to WWE, with the claim that she was starting an #EvaLution. In the weeks that followed since, more and more segments were featured, and the rumored plans for Eva Marie would see her as a manager, and also as a babyface. Recently, it was also rumored that Eva Marie would have a "bodyguard" of sorts in the form of either Mercedes Martinez (who has been in NXT for the last several months) or Piper Niven of NXT UK fame. Sure enough, all of our questions were answered.

Are the Seattle Mariners Cursed?
As an avid sports fan, there are a select number of teams who I can't help but be fascinated by, for different reasons. Regarding the Seattle Mariners, it amazes me how unlucky that team is, as well as what little success they've had. The Mariners were actually Seattle's second attempt at a Major League Baseball franchise, following the Seattle Pilots, who debuted in 1969 and ended up moving to Milwaukee and becoming the Brewers in 1970. It was seven years later that MLB returned to the Pacific Northwest in the form of the Seattle Mariners, who were one of two teams added to the American League in 1977--joining the American League West while the Toronto Blue Jays joined the American League East.

Villainess Review: Devan Walters (The Wrong Cheerleader Coach)
You know, we are about due for Lifetime's annual batch of cheerleader-themed movies--I still, to this day, remember the Cheer, Rally, Kill batch we got in 2019. Among 2020's collection of such films was The Wrong Cheerleader Coach, and it's central villainess was Devan Walters, who was introduced in the film as Lincoln High School's newly hired assistant to cheerleading coach Janice Burke. The school was attended by main protagonist Hanna Thompson, who moved with her father, widowed Jon Thompson, from Chicago.

An Address to Any and All Avalanche Fans
What was supposed to be a dream season for the Colorado Avalanche came to an abrupt end, as the team was ousted in six games by the Vegas Golden Knights in the West Division Final. The Avalanche, who captured the Presidents' Trophy this season, won the first six games of the playoffs, but Game Two saw the Avalanche win despite the Golden Knights starting to take over the remainder of the game. Colorado's next two games would see them lose complete momentum against the Knights, resulting in back-to-back road losses, and while Game Five saw them go up 2-0 entering the third period, the Knights came back in the third and won in overtime. Game Six? The Avalanche tried, but mistakes and miscues were the team's downfall.

What Went Wrong: Is the Bruins' Window Closed?
The Boston Bruins suffered a blowout loss--6-2--against the New York Islanders in Game Six of the East Division Final, handing the team their 2nd-straight second round elimination since reaching the Stanley Cup Final in 2019. The loss and elimination means that the Bruins have now gone a full decade since winning the Stanley Cup in the 2010-11 season--a drought that has seen the Bruins reach the Final twice, losing to the Chicago Blackhawks (six games) in 2013, and losing to the St. Louis Blues (seven games) in 2019.

Stacey Castor: Poisonous and Pathological
A story that I just can't help but be fascinated with involves Stacey Castor, a twice married mother of two who was, in actuality, a greedy and depraved murderess. I actually remember hearing about Stacey on the news, and I had also seen the Forensic Files episode centering on Stacey Castor a number of times.
