Soul of Stone: A tribute to Angie Stone
Back in the year 2001 the world of music was vibrant with a new found cadre of Neo-Soul artist. One morning while watching BET music videos a song called “Brotha” performed by Neo-Soul powerhouse Angie Stone came on and it really spoke to me as a young Black male. Earth 2040. The world is now a different place, nor utopian or dystopian, but median. A new age blend of prosperity and destitution. Nearly five years ago in the year 2035 life started falling off the face of the earth at an alarmingly exponential rate. With the vast growth of technology and the mysterious evolution of matter a group of researchers from the United Kingdom created a biological elixir known as Author’s Nostrum. It’s purpose is to restore ailing health by hooking its patients up to an I.V. powered by Microsoft Industries. While the patient is hooked up to the I.V. which is hooked up to a Nostrum Generator a writer with a laptop, tablet or iPad hooked into the generator writes life into the ailing patient by means of a story. A hidden advantage of this new elixir is that it not only saves lives, but also carries the hidden potential to extend life spans.

Working Remotely: a future of…
A few days ago I made my mind up about wanting to be a ghostwriter in the near future. Aside from the writing, the other big perk of it that intrigued me was the idea of being able to work from home. It was here that I started doing more thinking about working from home. In this modern age remote employment is becoming the standard more and more. As someone who has been considering working remotely I’ve been interested in taking a broader scope at why working remotely is so appealing, so I decided to interview a member of my extended family named Sara Cannon who has spent a great deal of her career working from hometown get her perspective on working remotely.

Bibliomaniac
Reid Wright is suffering from a strange addiction. No matter where he is or what he is doing he has a compulsive desire to read nonstop. “I can’t take much more of this” Reid whispered anxiously to himself. “Here I am at my job endlessly stacking boxes in this warehouse and I can’t hardly concentrate because all I can think about is how much I need to finish this book”.
