The Principality of Monaco
Monaco officially the Principality of Monaco is a sovereign city-state and microstate on the French Riviera. It is located only a few kilometers west of the Italian region of Liguria, in Western Europe, on the Mediterranean Sea. Monaco takes up only 200 hectares and counts as the world’s second-smallest country. However, it offers a lot of altitudes from which you can get sweeping views of this country. Even though the country is not a member of the EU they participate in the EU customs territory and this means that you can freely cross over from France to Monaco without any formalities at the border. They also have the Euro as their currency. You’ll see that there is so much more to Monaco and not just a playground for the rich and famous.

Being a Girl
I’m beginning a small series of songs involving the feminine gender. I begin with songs that have the word girl in the title, then move on to woman, and then I had the thought that after woman, the next highest status would be queen. Since there are songs with the word queen in the title then it would be appropriate to include them. The photo is of me as a little girl with my favorite beach ball.

My How Time Flies By
Back in August 2017 I suddenly lost my husband and soul mate and life seemed to have ended. Then after a while, I put all my emotions into poetry and published two books of poems. My first book came out in March of 2018 titled Poetic Thoughts Fly and my thoughts were flying all over the place. It is a collection of a variety of poems on different topics. My second book was published in December 2018 titled On the Wings of Love and includes only love poems. Now that five years have passed I thought it was a good time to take a look back on these books and introduce you to some of the poems.

The Music of Alvin Stardust Don’t you just love that name? Before this English rock singer and stage actor took the name Alvin Stardust in 1961. Before that, he was going by the name of Shane Fenton and cranking out hits such as “I’m a Moody Guy” and “Cindy’s Birthday”.
