Memorable Songs
Gary Puckett & the Union Gap Gary Puckett & The Union Gap came together as an American pop-rock group in the late 1960s. What set them apart from other groups was that they performed wearing Union Army uniforms from the American Civil War. The boys in the band were Gary Puckett, Gary “Mutha” Withem, Dwight Bement, Kerry Chater, and Paul Wheatbread. Later, once they started recording Gary Puckett became the lead singer and the other members became The Union Gap.

Always Somebody’s Baby
Baby is a simple term referring to very small children or infants. Baby is also a loving and endearing term people call their partners, lovers, and even friends. The term can also be used as a slang term to refer to a woman. Many songs have been written with baby in the title. Among these, my favorite is “Baby Blue”. Which is yours?

Ghostly Lighthouse Keepers
Battery Point Lighthouse and its museum are located in Crescent City, California at the foot of Lighthouse Way. It is an active lighthouse which was first lit in 1856. It is accessible on foot only during low tide and by boat during high tide. The lighthouse has a reputation for being a very haunted location and was named Coastal Living’s 7th most haunted lighthouse in the country. Here you’ll find three ghostly spirits – two adults and a child. Visitors feel a touch on their shoulders, old sea boots can be heard stomping up and down the stairs, and a rocking chair rocks by itself.

Larnaca by the Sea
Larnaca has a lovely location by the sea and you’ll soon discover that you’ll find a great deal of action at the Finikoudes. This is a lively coastal promenade where visitors and locals enjoy strolling, especially at sunset. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bars where the party goes on all summer long. There is much to see and enjoy in this city where the old meets the new.

Jump in the Line with Harry
I can picture American singer, actor, and activist Harry Belafonte, who made Calypso music popular, dancing down the Milky Way in Calypso style. He died on April 25, 2023, at the age of 96 in NYC, but he leaves us with his fantastic music to be enjoyed by future generations. He is one of the few performers to have received Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards. In 2022 Belafonte was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the Early Influence category.

Ghostly Passion for Books
I was a passionate reader from the time I first learned to read. I loved my library card and could never seem to find enough books to read. So this got me thinking that once I passed from this world how fantastic it would be to at least once a week visit a library in spirit. While still on earth I would love it if I had someone who could accompany me and I could combine my two passions reading and searching for spirits.

Visiting Springfield
Springfield is the capital of the U.S. state of Illinois. Abraham Lincoln Memorial Garden had its start in 1936 with Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops planting acorns that with time grew into large oak trees. Here you can find walking trails lined with wooden benches inscribed with quotes by Lincoln. This memorial garden was designed to represent the landscape Lincoln would have been familiar with in his lifetime, living in the Midwest. It has plants native to Illinois. Indiana, and Kansas.
