Memoirs of Fodder Deep-Mines
I’m old! Yep—I’m older than old according to my boys, Wild-Hair and Ceasil. Me twin boys make me proud, but piss me off at the same time! I would expect no less from a dwarf! We be the highest-ranking members of the Deep-Mines Clan. Dwarves take pride in that sort o’thing.

Edge of Lightening
The table had been cleared a while. Annie handed the table over to the next shift waitress, who kept their drinks filled as the lunch rush came and went. Seth busied herself with the crayons and pencils that Annie had left with her, and Mike leafed through the local Tucson paper. The new waitress joined them, and Mike asked if she would stay for a moment while he used to phone.

Edge of Lightning
Detective Fitch sat uncomfortably in the Commander’s office, waiting. He was really too large of a man for the chair. He didn’t know where to put his hands, and his shoulder holster interfered with the backrest. He looked at the file on the desk, closed, but some pictures spilled out. He was really nowhere on the investigation and wasn’t even sure if that was why he was called into the office. He heard a toilet flush, water running, and shut off from behind a closed door in the office, and the door opened.

Bukka's Curious
The halfling stepped out from his front door and took in a deep breath of fresh autumn forest air. His home was built into the ground beneath a large redwood, a comfortable little place that opened out into one room with a bed on the far end and a large fireplace where a hole opened up into a make-shift chimney, and a small table sat in the center with shelves lining his walls, all decorated with jars full of preserved deceased animals and other animal trinkets. The forest itself was comfortably filled with many redwoods tightly fit together and underbrush decorating the trunks at the base. As mentioned, it was autumn, and the forest floor was littered with colourful leaves and twigs that snapped beneath his small feet as he found a spot on a tree root and sipped from the cup of tea in his hands.

Guardians
The shores on the Northern Sea were calmer than usual, the light glistening against the quiet waters. Two men blissfully were sailing hoping to catch a good load of fish for the day. But calm waters do not indicate a peaceful voyage, for off to the west sailed a much larger ship filled with murderous men. "Captain!" said the crewman, "I see two fishermen on a small boat about five miles east." The captain smirked. He saw a chance to gather an easy score, so he rouses his men. "Alright lads! Let's go and meet our new guests. We can always use some more slaves!" The men laugh and head directly for the fishermen.

Unit 152
I DO NOT CLAIM THIS PHOTO, FOUND ON GOOGLE IMAGES Prologue She never thought her life would end up here, well she had a good idea, but there are things that even now still surprise her. This place for example, had many surprises. Now, she has been through a lot, that she thinks she has seen just about everything. Anything from a gentle smile and making friends to endless trauma that should have devastated her for the rest of her life. It should be clarified that the ‘she’ you are thinking of is not ‘her’ exactly but the multiple versions of her.
