The Return of the Order: Act 24
Act 24: Open Wounds The manor was in complete disarray when they returned. Sebastian, now aided by Margaret, struggled to stabilise Grell and stop the bleeding from the wound. Lord Birch busied himself carrying fresh bandages and bowls of bloodied water to and from the kitchen. Ronald and Undertaker sat watching helplessly from the hallway only moving as the portal opened, ready in case anything other than Louisa and the twins should step through.

Christmas King
If you were to ask Virgil, his favorite part of the Christmas season would be when the season ended. It was cold, it was expensive, it was loud, it was stressful for everyone still in school, there was a lot of pressure put on everyone to come up with a great gift; Virgil didn't really see why anyone would really be fond of the season and an episode of Adam Ruins Everything made him miss the days where Americans were fined for celebrating Christmas. The season gave him sensory overload and anxiety and he hated the finances reminding him that he used to and still did live within the lower end of middle class (not poor enough to need food stamps, but not wealthy enough to the point of not caring if he's out of milk in the apartment). The only job that would hire him paid him minimum wage and his boss was an arrogant ableist who would purposely put him through anxiety attacks for the sake of dark humor.

Permission to Feel
Logan and Patton had been together for quite some time, but Logan noticed that there was something...different about his lover. He knew that Patton wasn't the same man he took a long time to admit he was in love with, but he didn't know why. He had tried confronting Patton about his concerns, but Patton always claimed that everything was fine and Logan still couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing.

Remus and the Snowman
Warnings: mild swears, phalliac imagery, dirty actions that aren't explicitly detailed Thomas gave a suggestion for another bonding exercise for his Sides. Without the need for Roman to use any bowler hats to rig any votes in his favor, Thomas suggested that they would all build a snowman before warming up inside with onesies, movies, and hot chocolate (Patton ended up finding a great recipe in one of the most unexpected places: The Simpsons Movie). Like their time watching Frozen, Remus was the only current Dark Side that was able to join and Deceit didn't really object to it. The two exchanged knowing glances before the snake was the only Side indoors.

The Return of the Order: Act 22
Lord Birch and Margaret had been woken by the commotion that followed Grell’s initial arrival and Lilith’s distraught sobs. After being informed of Louisa and Raven’s departure and their possible destination, Lord birch had sequestered himself in his study. He sat his head in his hands as he contemplated the potential dangers that the pair faced. He had learned from Sebastian that it was his conjuring and binding of him that forbade Sebastian from entering the reaper's realm and standing beside his mate. Tears formed as Lord Birch replayed every turn he had made since his wife's death, each aimed solely at bringing her murders to justice, only each had further endangered others like her. Dragging Sebastian into this mess had only threatened his family and lead to the disappearance of a reaper of at least some importance.

The Joy of Giving
Christmas was nearing for boyfriends Patton and Roman. It was their first Christmas spent living together and they wanted it to be extremely special. Unfortunately, with every affordable way of living as well as celebrating, there were expenses on the other side of the coin. There were times when the worry would make Patton cling to his antique teddy bear, Crimson (who has been in his family for many years), before Patton would be held by Roman in a cuddle inception. Patton had been trying to save money through his job at the animal shelter to get himself a bakery, but it seemed the bills needed him more, even after splitting his income. As for Roman, he was planning to do multiple jobs related to creative arts, from caricature artwork to auditioning for acting gigs to even playing his guitar and singing on the side of the road. He felt proud to have his guitar since it was a graduation gift from his Uncle Thomas, who always believed in him. Roman just wished the world took the arts more seriously financially.
