Grand Adventure
Irean pulled her horse to a stop beside the inn in Boralus. Nyassa had said twenty minutes, and she figured she had ten minutes left before the other mage showed up. She dismounted, keeping a light hand on the reins while checking mail for the supplies cousin Læurell said she’d send.

The Return of the Order: Act 21
The open country passed by in a blur as Louisa, Grell, and Raven ran through the night. As London approached, they took to the rooftops, avoiding those that frequented the streets late at night. Arriving at Undertaker's shop, they leapt down and entered. The shop was quiet, light as usual by a single candle sitting on the table at the back of the main room.

Losing an Angel
The day was Christmas Eve and just about everyone was just finishing up their work at Sky's Chicken Mailers. At the establishment, the packages of prepared chicken were getting sorted to many places (homes, restaurants, shelters, etc.) in many forms (wings, legs, BBQ cubes, even the owner's favorite, buckets of chicken nuggets). As everyone was finishing their shifts, Sky stood on the nearest empty table and grabbed the attention of her employees.

Color His World
Virgil was never really sure if a higher power existed, but he was certain that if said higher power wanted to punish his mother for marrying someone she never even loved to begin with, then they made a horrible decision defecting the kid. When Virgil's mother, Bethany, was younger, her parents see that much of a future for her, so they married her off to the first rich guy that showed interest in her, which went as well as one would expect. What she saw and what others didn't see was a sexist man who preferred Bethany to be seen and not heard, would threaten to cheat on her if she didn't give him sex, burn her with a skillet if he didn't like the food she made, etc. When Virgil was born and was later found out to be colorblind, Bethany was blamed for it immediately. Apparently from needing accommodations for colorblindness and feeling powerless as his father berated his mother, Virgil's life wasn't too bad. He accepted that nothing could really be done for his colorblindness, but he had dreams in his life of a voice telling him not to make his parents' mistakes and to find someone who would "color his world". He always found the claim ridiculous, but hope did linger in the back of his head.

What to Get an Emo
Everyone expected Roman to have one of the easiest jobs in Thomas's mind since he was the aspect of accepted creativity. Well, apart from the atelophobia (since everyone was acknowledging it), one big issue that nobody really considered was that materializing certain things without help exhausted the Prince. As a result, he didn't often materialize anything that was too big since it would take a lot of time, but handheld objects or clothes were better.

The Return of the Order: Act 20
The next day began much like the day before; Lilith and Raven soon finished the tasks they had been set. Louisa and Sebastian spent much of the day pouring through the books written by Lord Birch's wife. Sebastian had been through them countless times, but he hoped that Louisa's fresh eyes might see something that he had missed. Something that would provide a clue to the identity of Birch's wife and her connection to the demon realm. There were no clues to her demon identity in the books she had written or in the likenesses of her that Lord Birch kept. Similarly, neither held any clues as to her reasons for choosing to live a human life.

Do You Have Faith in Me?
Patton knew he was making progress when it came to not being easily distracted. He knew that focus was important. He just wished he worked on his other weak areas, too. He was driving to the store with the intention of getting some groceries. However, he noticed that there was a smaller car behind him and switched lanes to give the car room. The driver moved lanes as well and stalked Patton to the point of running him off the road and making him hit a tree.

Judge the Pages, Not the Cover
It was that time of year for Logan Sanders and his class; sleigh bells ringing, frost appearing outside that made them all envy the states that had snow, and the teachers had to prepare their students for finals. However, school wasn't only going to be associated with finals for that time of the year since the student council convinced the faculty that they should have a winter get-together after finals. After some negotiating, they agreed on having the get-together as well as having willing staff and students bringing in refreshments so that too much wouldn't be taken out of the budget and they'd have the parents and teachers join in on the meetings for planning the get-together.

Scuba Emo
Virgil was in the boat looking over at the water. He felt a hand on his shoulder and found that the owner of it was Patton, which made him feel a little better. They were both looking out at the water knowing that, by no choice if their own, they would soon be swimming in it with plenty of equipment.

An Angel Gets His Wings
Patton has always looked up to the older angels that have had their wings for many many years. You see, in the environment he grew up in, the children inherently had big kind hearts and they would do whatever they could to make the world a better place seemingly as a human. Once they were old enough and did enough good, all they would need was the sound of a nearby bell for them to retrieve their wings and continue their work with Heaven as their main home and their deeds done while they're unseen by the humans.

Down Goes the Duke
Warnings: death, nude corpse, psych ward, drugs, referenced gore, sexual references Roman and Logan didn't expect to feel much when they arrived at the funeral. How could they? When they heard of the request for an open casket viewing with the corpse in the buff (that hadn't been entirely complied) and of too many substances in his body as the cause of his demise, the two just saw it as typical Remus behavior headed for the grave. The couple didn't really have a lot to say when they sat down. Logan might've only seen the taboo behavior and then some expressed before they got a restraining order against Remus, but Roman saw so many years of his brother's toxic behavior. Roman saw the so many times their parents dismissed the behavior as "boys will be boys" until Remus hotwired their car and attempted to run Roman over when they were 7. The couple saw familiar faces and a multitude of emotions surrounding them, but they didn't dare to say anything for concerns of inappropriate frustrations expressed.

The Return of the Order: Act 19
Silence fell upon Birch manor. Lord Malcolm and Margaret had retired for the night. There was nothing left for the twins or their parents to do. Sebastian and Louisa had disappeared to their room, and Raven had retired soon after. Lilith, however, was restless; thoughts of William had filled her mind since their first encounter, and those thoughts had become even more intrusive since they had come to London.
