Deep breath.
I knew I needed to follow some instinct inside my Soul It was a magnet pulling me into a frequency that was new to me but I knew It was from the Lord as I knew his voice, his aura his spiritual Soul eminating lighting all the dark from all the path ahead. Water, foggy waters we are here.

The Lighthouse of Mantum
My name is Tomaine and I'm a light keeper. I tend to a lighthouse on a small remote island called Mantum. While my location is remote it is quite important to many of the major trade routes. There is always a storm going on even if it's a light one so it is always wet no matter what. Ships stop at my small harbour once every three months to bring me food and supplies. I came here after the previous light keeper Pollie mysteriously disappeared. He was assumed to be dead since it looked like the lighthouse had been raided. But a body was never found.

Wandering Soles
“Soles,” read the sign that hung above the small store; “Walk In Their Shoes” written below it. The motto caught my eye on my way home from work, and the color-faded sneakers on my feet were ogling it too. A little bell rang as I opened the door, the inside smelling like leather. There were rows of shelves with dozens of pairs of shoes, all different kinds. An old man sitting behind the register perked his head up as he saw me.

Reflections
Across the street there’s a park with a pond in the center. Well, technically the maps refer to it as a “reservoir” but I like calling it a pond. It’s got a lot of ducks, geese, and squirrels that like to hang out there. My girlfriend and I love going there, especially to clear our heads.

Something in the Air
There is something in the air today; something that says, "Don't go out." I'm not sure what this feeling is as the gray mask that is morning dew among storm clouds rolls in. It isn't the danger of a storm that my heart, mind, and body are warning against. No, this is a presence, an event. Something is going on today, but I'm uncertain as to what. Whatever it is is a foreboding of evil; a caution I cannot ignore.

Stan The Blackfoot
"It's the largest fresh body of water this side of the Mississippi," the Blackfoot told me. It sounds like bullshit to me, but then again, I wasn't exactly in the mental state to be challenging anything about my geographic state. The brimmers had my memory fuzzy. How many had I taken that day? Six? Seven? Drowning in brimmers, I say to the swimmers. Did we really kill the Tin Cup before getting dinner? Mountain whisky is what Prescott called it, but they all taste like fire to me.

The Secrets Of Ghostly Lake
The river boys camped along the low bank when the weather was on their side. On summer nights they sat by the fire, passed the bottle and cooked a feed, a couple of tins of baked beans or bacon bones in steaming water and bread toasted on an old stove rack. If one of them got lucky with the throwing arm and landed a kill with a fistful of rock, they shared a rabbit on the coals.

The devil made me do it case
I have posted about demons and the devil before but have forgot to do a trigger warning. Some people may find mentions of demons or murder disturbing so reader beware. As always when I cover murders I mean no disrespect to the victim or their family.
