The Life I Might Have Lived
Would my life be better if I didn't drop out of high school? If I didn't take SSRIs and Zyprexa as a teen? If I worked hard to learn and refine my craft (or crafts) from the beginning instead of wasting my time on infatuations, lies, anger, politics, etc?

This pattern also teaches us something about how He works in our lives. He rarely transforms us by overwhelming force or by replacing our weaknesses with something entirely new. Instead, He takes the little patience we have, the little faith, the little love, the little willingness, and He multiplies it. Everything, make me think, about the sacrifice and endurance of the first Christians, so that we can today enjoy the Good Gospel. In place of it, we spend our sabbat ignoring Our Lord! Most of us!
